How long does it take for you to complete an order for GlamSticks?

I always try and complete the orders as quickly as I can. Please do understand, however, that I am ill and disabled and I cannot guarantee being able to turn an order around very, very quickly. You therefore need to allow from up to 28 working days or 6 weeks, for me to make the item. Please don’t ask me to do them any more quickly as I find it difficult to say no and I will make myself ill staying up in the early hours to finish them.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes we do.  Our Easy Payment Plan means that you can always afford our GlamSticks products. We ask for a deposit and then a regular payment per week.  Contact us directly for more details as we can work with you to ensure you have the best plan for your payments.

Can I use my GlamSticks every day?

Whilst there’s nothing to stop you from doing so, please understand that Glamsticks takes no responsibility if done so. Please also do bear in mind that GlamSticks are bespoke, hand-crafted designer items and, as such, require particular care and attention in their use.

They are designed for occasional use and should not replace your existing mobility support aid(s) for general, everyday activities.

How sturdy are your GlamSticks?

All crutches are NHS standard and can support 125KG (275 lbs, or 19.5 stones). The crutches are very good quality and British made; they are reconditioned to “as new” standard with very minimal use before I transform them into GlamSticks! Doing it this way helps to keep costs down and it is of course far better and far “greener” to recycle whatever and whenever we can!

The folding sticks do not, of course, have the same strength as a one-piece stick and you should therefore be careful in using a folding stick if your support aid needs to be able to carry your full weight. This is a basic limitation of any multi-part item and is not a reflection of any additional work done by GlamSticks.

Are the GlamSticks adjustable?

I fix the GlamSticks to the required height, which you choose from the drop-down list at the point of purchase. Once it set the GlamSticks is no longer adjustable, so please choose the height you would like carefully as incorrect choice will be the clients’ responsibility. Please note if you require a set height between Cuff and Handle rest, then please let me know, otherwise the GlamSticks will be set to a standard height.

Do you do walking sticks?

Yes, we do folding GlamSticks, wooden GlamSticks and aluminium GlamSticks – all of which can be fixed to the required height.

Are GlamSticks under guarantee?

I cannot refund your money if you simply don’t like the stick as each one is made to order. If the GlamSticks is faulty then I will offer a refund or a replacement GlamSticks upon return of the faulty GlamSticks. GlamSticks are designed as accessories and more care should be taken with them than would be with an undecorated stick, although I do try to make the decoration on the GlamSticks as robust as possible.

We also love to see you using our products, so if you buy more from us, you will be rewarded with Glamsticks family preferred pricing. Please ask for more details.

Can I have a refund?

If you have placed an order and then change your mind only a 25% refund will be given. You are asked to accept the terms and conditions when placing your order and cancellations can not be fully refunded if the mistake was from the clients’ side.

How do I work out the right length of stick for me?

Measure from the top of the crutch handle or top of walking stick to the ground, in inches. Bear in mind that if the GlamSticks is for a special occasion, then you may be wearing heels which you may want to take into account when doing the measurement.

Please Note! To measure for the correct height, ensure that the intended user is standing in their usual footwear of choice with their hands at their sides. The measurement should be taken from between the floor to their wrist bone.

Can you do a design that I want?

If it is feasible then I will do my utmost to fulfil your design needs, but it will incur a £70 charge to cover the extra time in the design and stones, which is then added to the normal cost. This is all due to the extra work involved.

I want to order a GlamSticks but there isn’t an option for a different colour/style? What do I do?

Just email me with the details and we’ll take it from there!

Are all GlamSticks unique?

As each GlamSticks is individually crafted. There will never be two GlamSticks that are exactly the same. The designs in the gallery are for illustrative purposes only and finished products may vary.

I don’t use Paypal. Are there any other methods of payment?

If you follow the Paypal link, there will be an option to pay by credit or debit card.

Is there anywhere I can find reviews from previous buyers?

Yes, have a look at the feedback I have got on the Gallery page.

Can I request a specific style of crutch/walking stick or handle?

Yes, I can usually get ergonomic crutches and walking sticks and Derby handles on request. You need to email me to check stock and prices.

Do you mail worldwide?

I will mail to most places but the postage is quite expensive: approximately £25 to Europe and £46 to America/Canada.

Prices do change all the time so please check. This won’t come up on the checkout and I will need to send you an invoice for the difference.

Please note that all delivery address MUST be the same as the address to your Paypal address if paying with Paypal. This ensures that both you and I are covered under the Paypal terms and I can not send to an alternative address.
